My pets have it out for me and my mental health.

17 May

Now that I work from home, I get to spend a lot more time with my pets! Which is great!  Until they make me crazy!  or I should say until they start conspiring together to plot the inevitable collapse of my sanity!

My cockatiel Sketch has perfected the screech of our front door deadbolt unlocking, so he’ll bust out one of those which sends Wheeler hauling ass to the front door in a frantic barking, rug-sliding, jumping frenzy.  I’m down the hall from both animals in my studio / home office trying to get work done, so I have to holler at Wheeler even though it’s technically Sketch’s  fault.  And since “Wheeler” is one of Sketch’s favorite words, I have to listen to “Wheeler! Wheeler! Wheeler!” for the next few minutes / hours / until he decides to do the deadbolt noise again.   It’s a never… ending…. cycle.

Oh the joys of working from home!
